Blackwatch International Corporation is seeking a full-time ServiceNow Developer and System Administrator to be an important part of our platform support and development team based out of Windsor Mill, MD. It will start out as fully-remote due to Covid-19 and may morph into a hybrid pending broader Blackwatch International Corporation guidelines – TBD. Presently we are on the Orlando release of ServiceNow in the cloud and actively using modules within the ITSM, ITOM and ITBM suites. There is a large demand here for new capabilities in the platform and we are looking for an experienced integrator/developer/administrator to help improve our discipline in supporting this critical platform, and broaden its impact through module expansion, platform integration and automation.
The successful candidate will serve as a key technical resource regarding the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow implementation and have fluency in ServiceNow design and development principles that enables them to work with external development partners and key stakeholders to develop enterprise business solutions for our customers that leverage ITIL processes and best practices.
ServiceNow (SN) is used across all of our teams and scope includes incident management, problem management, service catalog, change management, release management, agile, resource management, knowledge management, service call, configuration management database (CMDB) including discovery, event management, asset management, and Continual Improvement Management (CIM).
This position is open to support 100% remote work for the appropriate candidate, though on-site is supported as well.

Blackwacth International Corporation is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to support the National Institute of Health (NIH), Computer Information Technology (CIT) program. This ServiceNow Developer role will focus on support of NIH’s instance of ServiceNow and each stakeholder that uses this system. Daily activities will include management and configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules, product development, and some system administration tasks. As part of this role, the ideal candidate will possess an understanding of ServiceNow scripts and will be able to proficiently utilize them. This is part of a large initiative for the NIH where Blackwatch International Corporation has the responsibility of supporting the centralized IT Services, Management and CDMB efforts across the enterprise using Agile and ITIL best practices.
Daily activities will include developing requirements in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria to enable the development and testing of the ServiceNow product and its sub-modules. Additional responsibilities will include serving as ScrumMaster, tracking and reporting the team’s continual progress and metrics associated to the delivery of capability. In this role, you will act as a liaison between parties when necessary to get support when issues arise or when technical difficulties are identified.
You will also regularly engage with ServiceNow administration staff at other NIH organizations to ensure proper and continual handoff between users and systems, or to support global challenges that require coordination.
